Congress can’t make Puerto Rico a State unless the people of Puerto Rico ask to become a State. Watch the Democrats attempt to bribe Puerto Ricans.

Read the article to find out exactly how they are going to try to “nudge” the people of PR into voting for statehood. More voting trickery.

Agreed! But that was what was so important about what Beck was pointing out tonight...the bill is written differently now & the answer is a trick! It no longer asks if they want to become a state, it asks if they want the country to stay the status quo. So, obviously people will answer no b/c of the economy & such - which then leads to the second half of the bill, & the second question - which does not allow a popular answer.

...its a trick!

Bribing the Puerto Ricans will be tough, as they are already fully integrated into the welfare system and they pay no federal income taxes. It provides a heady atmosphere for economic growth as much manufacturing is relocating there.

The Constitution doesn't say that; it's just normal practice. If the Party of Tyranny can force Puerto Rico into the Union, and gain Congressional votes by doing so, it will do so.

Maybe this will backfire on the rats on the Hill. If they force statehood on PR, the natives may take unkindly to being taken over. They may take it out on the rats the first time they get to vote as a state. The Pubs may pick up more seats in both houses than they would have normally. That’s my theory. I hope it comes to pass.
