It's heartbreaking that believers should ever have to be forced to choose between supporting country and obeying God. ("Country first" made me very uneasy in 2008.) Push comes to shove, we'll have to do what we'll have to do.

If it ever reaches that point, there really is no choice. The real shame lies with those who are trying to force that choice upon us. G-d said we should call upon his Holy Name because in the end, that is all there is. No man or body of men can ever trump that.
