ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Sarah Palin's attorney says another ethics complaint against the former Alaska governor has been dismissed.
Thomas Van Flein announced the dismissal Tuesday on Palin's Facebook page.
Van Flein says the complaint was filed against Palin after she left office. It alleged Palin's legal defense fund was a violation of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.
The attorney says the complaint was tossed for lacking a factual or legal basis.

Loser pays would solve the problem of frivolous law suits
So what’s the tally? How many ethics complaints have been filed and how many have been dismissed so far? How many remaining?
Did they ever find the “peaceful” liberals who burned down Sarah’s church?
meanwhile, the legal defense fund has been tied up all this time?
Are these fools paying Sarah's legal and court expenses when the case gets tossed?
So when are they going to start filing ethics complaints against the guy in the White House?
Just WAIT ‘till WE get the power to investigate!
The irony is that if these mentally disturbed people who insist on harassing Palin had just left her alone, she would be serving out her term as Governor and hardly noticed on the world stage.
You can not counter sue a private citizen, For what? It can’t be done legally, by saying it was done for frivolous purposes?.......Sarah was in limbo and couldn’t stop Rahm and his buddies from filing one frivolous suit after another!
But the Palin hater’s won’t have none of that and don’t want to hear that, but they won’t explain how she could saved her State time, money and resources
My understanding is that this suit was filed after she was a private citizen. Doesn’t that change the dynamic?
“The irony is that if these mentally disturbed people who insist on harassing Palin had just left her alone, she would be serving out her term as Governor and hardly noticed on the world stage.”
Their irrational fear of her has become a self fulfilling prophecy.
the number is in a note on her facebook page. I think it was in the teens with one outstanding.
No ......while this is after she left office, the State of Alaska, the Attorney Generals office, and others, still have to spend time and resources addressing the abusive onslaught of frivolous complaints directed against Palin after She left office.
She will sue them for what? Frivolous lawsuits made for Political purposes? Can see category proved that beyond a doubt? even though we know it was done for political purposes.
It seems criminal to harass someone with a stream of fraudulent ethics complaints that have, one after the next, been dismissed. One would think that at least a civil suit might be possible to recoup the legal costs to fight false allegations.
What do you suppose would happen if the Alaska Legislature tried to pass a bill barring any further ethics complaints against Gov. Palin the way Hawaii has banned any further requests for Obama’s birth certificate? After all, both are a waste of State time, payroll, valuable resources, yadda yadda...
26-0-1 (the 1 is outstanding). I believe that one is also related to the legal defense fund but I may be mistaken on that.
That is astounding. That level of false accusations would lead every news program if it were a democrat who was subjected to endless fraudulent charges.
Find? Maybe. Prosecute? No. Too busy prosecuting non-crimes and non-events of conservative politicians and their friends.
Remember the Governor's mansion that burnt down?
The LE and JUSTICE system was all set to 'burn' someone for it, until the leads took them to a disgruntled UNION member.
Then... it was quickly forgotten.
