What about legal aliens? They aren’t lawbreakers and they are going to get grilled.
If one isn’t breaking any laws they are not likely to come to the attention of law enforcement to begin with. However once in a while they may, then it is not a big deal- all they have to do is show that they are legally here. As to being “grilled” I doubt that- unless they are in trouble for something else.
