It is high time for other states like Texas, Oklahoma and others to pass THE EXACT SAME LAW!

The whining from the “vocal minority” of the left serves as proof that this law not only makes sense, but will work. Lastly, it is CONSTITUTIONAL.

I heard that Texas is considering it (they only meet once every two years), Utah is going to pass it, and several other states that are worried about the influx of illegals when the law goes into force.

The beauty of AZ's law is that it simply tracks federal law, but gives state and local officials authority and responsibility to enforce it.

What idiots. AZ is doing nothing but enforcing FEDERAL law because the feds haven't. AZ's law ALREADY is law in all the states, including Illinois. It's just that AZ is tired of waiting around for federal enforcement. It has given its state and local officials authority and responsibility to enforce the same provisions that are in FEDERAL law.

"The Arizona law makes it a state crime for aliens not to have immigration documents on their person. This sounds draconian, except it's been a federal crime for more than half a century -- USC 1304(e). Has the open-borders crowd forgotten that it calls illegal aliens "undocumented" for a reason?"

So, it is the law, other states just need to make it ALSO a state law so that they can enforce it!
