You're on target with Barak and Barry. Jones is a bit puzzling, he had a solid military career. But it's entirely possible his sentiments are with the palestinians. He turned down more substantial positions to go their and train their "defence" force, even noting that if Israel doesn't get on the ball soon, they'll turn their guns on Israel. Said that when he worked for GWB and Barry, so I'm guessing he's taken sides.
