Thanks for the insight. I’ve been waiting for a bit more clarification on the rules. If it was “there’s a dark-skinned guy I’m stopping him” - forget it. (Too easily could become “there’s an older white guy with a fanny pack, I’m stopping him to see if he has a gun”.

I hope that the cops get updated on all of the things to look for in forged documents. I hear that is a big deal, and too easy for the illegals to obtain and show to their employers for work.

If you present a forged document to a cop for purposes of identification, that alone is a felony. That alone should be a one way ticket to deportation.

This will end up like TSA, only middle class white guys and old women will be stopped. I believe that the Government of Mexico will sue the first cop to stop an illegal, just like they do the border patrol and ciizens using a gun to stop illegals from trespassing their property.
