Nice......
Does that mean they’ll ex-communicate the guy, too, with all that implies?

The Catholic Church is its own worst enemy.
Why this guy is still a priest is beyond me but it speaks volumes of the church that he is not only still one but has been honored by his bishop.
Post 17 really takes the cake.
Oh, and IBTRCCD.

HORRIFIC.
I hope the ‘dark side’ hasn’t turned a Pentecostal similarly into some sort of satanic mind-melded sleeper agent.

Funny how these guys can say what they want to, but if anyone comments in a questioning way about policies or procedures of the Catholic church, some people get REAL upset real fast. In fact, it causes one to have fear of making any comment which does not seem to be constitutional to me.

Rome doesn't excommunicate those kinds of "alter Christus."
Rome promotes them.
Rome likes them.

I was attempting sarcasm but that's proving to be more difficult all the time. Soon as I come up with the most outlandish thing I can think of, it proves to be the case.
Maybe I lack imagination.....or the rest of world has too much.

I was raised Catholic. I was baptized, had my first communion and was confirmed in the Catholic church. I no longer can support the Catholic church, the rot is just too deep. My father always said it was "an institution designed by a genius, and managed by morons". Fair enough. But the morons have the upper hand and time after time they refuse to do what is right. The bishops won't even excommunicate Nancy Pelosi & company. Why?
What is so bad about ex-communication? It's a very logical response to people who flaunt the teachings of the church.
Very sad.

The priest is one thing but then why is the Archbishop left in place and what does it say about an organization that tolerates such over and again? One a sin of commission, the other of omission.
