A heroic homeless man, stabbed after saving a Queens woman from a knife-wielding attacker, lay dying in a pool of blood for more than an hour as nearly 25 people indifferently strolled past him, a shocking surveillance video obtained by The Post reveals.

Some of the passers-by paused to stare at Hugo Alfredo Tale-Yax last Sunday morning and others leaned down to look at his face.

He had jumped to the aid of a woman attacked on 144th Street at 88th Road in Jamaica at 5:40 a.m., was stabbed several times in the chest and collapsed as he chased his assailant.

NYC is returning to the days of David Dinkins courtesy of Mike Bloomberg and Barack Obama.

I hate Jamaica, Queens. I had the unfortunate experience of having to work on a few things there the past few months. It’s a cesspool of corruption.

Increase? Massive? The more I look, the less I see.

The least someone could have done was call the cops. Sick!

That shouldn’t matter....

A guy lying facedown in the street should cause anyone to call the cops and EMT’s.....even in NYC....

Regardless of the obvious presence of any blood, another fellow man was in distress.....

I live in NYC and crime is up in most categories by 20%, 30% and even more this year. Bloomberg is pulling a Dinkins and the criminals are taking advantage of the opportunity. Bloomberg apologists are no different than the Dinkins apologists.

Homeless guy laying on the street is a common sight.

I found nothing at all remarkable about this video.

You could not tell he was injured.

I'm sure I would have walked on by as well

Murders in the past month are up 41%.

Rapes are up 31% in the past month.

Now that the weather is getting warmer, the Obama nation is just getting ready for a bloody summer.

http://www.albionmonitor.com/0406a/reaganhomeless.html

The first thing I remember noticing about Reagan’s presidency was...the homeless. It was something new here in Los Angeles, to see dark, huddled figures sleeping on bus benches and in doorways, shuffling along with downcast faces, often muttering, even shouting on occasion to unseen tormentors. How did this happen, where did these people suddenly appear from? They weren’t all Vietnam vets, in fact few of them were. They were simply people who needed help, who needed care, who needed someplace safe to be mentally ill, and Ronald Reagan’s “Less government is more good” policies had put them on the streets.

Nothing will ever rehabilitate that old fraud in my eyes, ever.

....Remember all the criticism of Reagan and the increase in homeless people???

OK, WHERE ARE THE GOP NOW.? I live in St Pete FL and the homeless are crawling ALL over our city, like roaches. The GOP should make this a HUGE issue.

This is being handed to them on a silver platter and they are doing NOTHING with the situation.

What about the guy who took his photo? What about the guy who shook him to see if he was alive and walked off. What about the guy who turned him over and saw the blood and walked away? Did he deserve to die because he was homeless?

I was in San Francisco last week and the homeless are out of control. It’s worse than NYC in the pre-Guiliani days.

“Cops said they received four 911 calls at around the time of the attack reporting a woman screaming, but found nothing.” uh huh. yeah, right

I called the cops once to report blood splatter about ten inches in lenght, on a street where I walk daily. The blood was conical as if something was shot while on or near the pavement. Told them where and marked it by putting a big rock on the curb. Follow-up was they found nothing unusual and claimed an officer went to inspect. Blood splatter is unusual to me. Examine the spot a couple days later. At the time of report, the blood had yet to congeal (sp?). It was dryer now and you could see bits of flesh and some hair. The hair looked to me to be from a deer. Thinking someone hit a deer with their car then shot it seemed to be the explanation. Looking through the near woods I did find a mostly eaten deer. Bad shot if deer was able to travel 50 or so feet after getting hit and being shot. "That's a wild goose chase at Nokatomi Plaza"

A prayer and a thank you for Alfredo Tale-Yax. Proof that all are not callous and unfeeling.

Then a special prayer for the soul of a city that is so unfeeling and self centered.

Say what you will about Rudy, he and Kerrick remade NYC into a reasonably safe place to live, now Bloomberg is failing to keep it up.

He may not be on the correct side on abortion, but he did NYC right.

Elect a Republican president and make Rudy AG.

I live in NYC and I voted for Rudy and watched him clean up Dinkins’ mess. I also voted for Bloomberg and have unfortunately found out that he is no different than David Dinkins. Things are going downhill fast as the weather gets warmer here. It’s going to be a bad summer.

I don’t care where I am or what the “norm” is. If I see a guy lying bloody on the sidewalk, I at least call 911.

Is this an example of anti-male bigotry that has been promoted by the leftist feminists for the past 40 years? Masculine behavior, man saves women from knife-wielding attacker, is than left to die on the streets. Where’s Title X, when you need it?
