I will certainly agree with you that the border must be secured as a first step. Should have been done decades ago.

But saying this as politely as I can, it is delusional to think that what you suggest (rounded up, placed in camps along the border, forced to build a double fence, and THEN deported) is going to happen. It feels good to say it but it is an impossibility.

The Republicans and Democrats in power over the last four decades have created an impossible mess. You can not wish back time as if the mess never happened.

Attrition through enforcement will work if we elect a POTUS who will enforce our current immigration laws and effectively secure the border. As far as camps for those who refuse to leave and building the fence...piece of cake for Sheriff Joe!
