If the war against Islamic extremism were left to Comedy Central, it would have been lost by now. The network's decision to censor last week's episode of "South Park" depicting Muhammad was an act of unilateral surrender in the face of violent jihadist threats.
"South Park" first depicted Muhammad in July 2001 in an episode in which representatives of major religions were envisioned as superheroes. No one objected. A second depiction in 2006 - intended as commentary on the 2005 controversy in which a Danish newspaper was threatened by Islamic radicals after running cartoons satirizing Muhammad - was censored. Last week's censorship was heavier still. "South Park" co-creator Matt Stone observed that this marked a cultural retreat. Censorship became "the new normal," he said. "We lost. Something that was OK is now not OK." His creative partner, Trey Parker, noted that if "everyone would have rallied together" after the first threats in Denmark, there never would have been a problem.

Muhammad is the first dirty word they have censored.
Looks like the war is already over... just waiting for Fuhrer Obama’s Surrender.. which I am Surprised hasn’t happened ALREADY!!!
Stock up on ammo.
The whole world is held captive by a few terrorists, who would have thunk it.
So its ok to show Jesus downloading porn, but nothing can be done with muhammad.
Anyone the least bit surprised?
Why aren’t we seeing a picket of Comedy Central yet? With placards screaming “COWARDS!” “APPEASERS!” Top that off with a boycott.
There ought to be.
Cowards!
All the leftist bs about Christian exremists. Bashing Jesus is safe.
Islam? So much for satire.
Where’s Jon Stewart? Man up and show the unedited video or walk
from the network. Tea Party is a safe target.
Hah, have you seen the RevolutionIslam site that put out the threat to trey and matt? Hacked, pure awesomeness.
For Comedy Central to be so “cutting edge” for 8 years while playing comedian after comedian uttering the crudest and foulest jokes imaginable about George W. Bush... who knew they were such p*ssies.
BOOM
There are close to 1 billion muslims on the planet. If even 10% are extremists, do the math.
They ought to take their show to a network with some courage.
I just remembered something.
Hollywood and the networks used to do this for the Soviet Union, the USSR could get scripts rewritten, and for a long time they blocked that miniseries about them conquering America.
Some people don’t remember that “Red Dawn” was banned in some West German theatres, and how reviled it was by the American media, they couldn’t stop it, but they sure wanted to get it gone as quickly as possible.
Nothing BETTER... except msm is trying to claim they hacked the wrong site.. don’t those idiots know...that under sharia, those whining libs are going to be the FIRST ONES BEHEADED.
No sign that shows the any wrong site was hacked... we should see the same thing on all MOOSLIM sites.
Isn’t this the same channel that sponsors shows that call the Tea Partiers “terrorists”?
I guess they don’t believe that - if they did, they’d stop calling us that....
Considering that there are about 6 billion inhabitants on planet earth the math favors the non-Moslem. Consider also that there only few of these Muslims that are terrorists (less than 1% ) ... the math still favors my premise ... a few terrorists control the world.
Even if my math is wrong, one billion controlling five billion ... ?
The world is not held captive by terrorists — it is held captive by cowards.
Consider also that most of the Moslem militants are in Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan. Contained, as it were, in the Middle East. From these third world countries they control the world. That leaves less than a few hundred roaming the world with treats that have the world scared to death.
