Sorry ‘bout that.
It has been a somewhat disastrous month for me.
I am seriously contemplating selling my house. I am not sure I can continue to afford to maintain it. Cost out a new sewer from where the pipe enters the basement floor out to the street. 20 ft of concrete in the basement + 40-50 feet to the street, 10 foot down.
I had it done and my 401k is a lot less now.
New sump pump is running every few minutes in current wet weather. I get home today and there is a sunken area near the foundation where the new sewer runs. Bad fill or sinkhole?
New sump is now draining a lot further away from the house. (this what I was mickey mousing the last hour or so. basement is dry, but sump is pretty full)
Will have the plumbing company out to look at sunken area
End of whining. :)
On the plus side, my internets connection isn’t blipping out today, even though we have had heavy rain and slushy snow falling today.
