Just an anecdote here: On a Caribbean cruise a couple of years ago I met a couple from AZ - they were both of Mexican descent but born HERE - both worked in law enforcement and LOVED Sheriff Joe!!!
I’ll bet they are doing a happy dance today!

We all get asked for ID when we get pulled over for whatever reason. Before this bill, if a cop pulled over an illegal with no license, no insurance, no identification, no English....all he could do is let them go. Now the cops can detain them until they can prove their status.

Don’t forget - had the cops been able to do this in other states, the Twin Towers would still be standing.
