As the great Levin explained on last nights show, this bill is basically a government take over of the financial institutions.

Democrats have set a 5 p.m. vote for Monday to begin consideration of the bill, giving negotiators only four more days to reach a deal on a document exceeding 1,400 pages. Ready, fire, aim.

Democrat Senators may be having to choose between Obama’s Chicago gang and Wall Street contributors.

“everything” has to be done “right away” with the kenyan’s administration
1400 pages of junk and legalese in this bill,
if the democrats dont move fast, people might find out what’s in it
If democrats want it so bad, the taxpayers will get it real bad

I just read an article in the NY Post about Bambi's speech yesterday. One line:
Blankfein [Goldman CEO] made the most of the time by chatting with elected officials and chatting up the Rev. Al Sharpton.
What in the world does Al Sharpton have to do with the US financial system?

I’m cynical enough to think this bill will not pass and there is a reason for what they are doing. I’m thinking this is a scheme: talk the bill up and knock it down, make up plebs happy and defuse some of the voter anger in November.

I don’t care what the bill does, I am getting sick and tired of bills that are thousands of pages long.

BO and Reid and Pelosi do not care one whit what the people think. Such has been proven in the health care debate.
As Rush said, there is only one solution: we must defeat these bastards.

I called my Senator...his staffer said he hasn’t made a statement on this...what the heck...they are going to have access to my checking account and credit card transactions and he has no statement.

I'm pretty sure they didn't write 1,400 pages' worth in some earlier four day period.
