An odd argument. “The Supreme Court won’t do anything about it, so shut up.”
Well, the courts, from SCOTUS on down, may or may not do the right thing. They have, especially in modern times, sometimes done the wrong thing, the unconstitutional thing, as they did in Roe v. Wade. Indeed, they did the wrong thing long before that, when they issued the Dred Scott decision, supporting slavery.
But that got straightened out. Americans don’t like to be told to shut up, when their political leaders appear to be acting like criminals and their courts refuse to act justly.
I haven't told anyone to shut up. I have pointed out that Birther litigation is not only futile, but counter productive. I have also pointed out that the refusal of the courts to perform an act the Constitution specifically assigns to another branch of government (removing the President from office) is not an injustice, but rather a strict adherence to their duty.
