The Government Employee Insurance Co (GEICO) removed all their ads from Glenn Beck and called him racist. As a regular watcher, I know for a fact that Beck is NOT racist. Therefore, their decision to enter the political world based on a falsehood disqualifies them for my business...just like the Dixie Chicks, Green Day, and half the actors in Hollywood.

And honestly, I’m certain that GEICO fired the sheeple to protect their bottom line, and not out of any pretense of doing the right thing.

Were you aware of this?
"A Fox representative noted that Geico is dropping its ads from the show but was quick to note that it was shifting dollars to other programs. "The advertisers referenced have all moved their spots from Beck to other programs on the network, so there has been no revenue lost," the rep said." Source

Of course it was to protect their bottom line. The people that are in the Tea Party buy things, insure things, and work hard. They don’t like it when someone insults them.

Personally, I have had issues with companies with whom I do a lot a business. It is amazing what a well targeted letter outlining the issue, and your lifetime value with the company, can do for a response.

Good for Geico for pulling the plug on these guys. its shows that their heart is in the right place: making a profit in a capitalist society.
