“South Park” did nothing wrong with their little program....the museums are full of paintings etc. depicting Mohammad....Radical Islam can only be successful if people let it. If anyone makes a threat to harm you, call the police or handle the matter yourselves.
Aw, they’re all cut from the same damned cloth!
I hope they have good security...
11:00 The Ideology and Strategies of Global Jihad (Walid Phares)
From the name it seems like this guy has some experience. LOL
“
What museums are ‘full of paintings depicting Mohammed’
From the information I’ve seen online
zombietime.com “Mohammed Image Archive”,
this is absolutely FORBIDDEN in Islam.
“
My inexpert understanding is that Islamic tradition basically forbids
depictions of humans in art/sculpture, etc.
Maybe five years ago, I saw a documentary (National Geographic)
about a curator of an art museum in Afghanistan. The museum contained
some works of art with human depictions (from the more liberal
pre-Taliban times).
The guy managed to hid some of the works. IIRC, he also used watercolors
to mask (”erase”) human forms from some other paintings...
thus you had a painting of a street scene that was totally devoid of
human forms.
The Taliban are freakin’ nuts; what scares me is how many “moderate”
Muslims seem to approve of some of their activities.
IIRC, a “charter school” in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with a
substantial contingent of Muslims students cowed the administration
to forbid human representations in art class.
Scary stuff.
