Mass GOP convention nominates most extreme pro-gay Governor & Lt. Governor candidates in history

The Massachusetts Republican Party has nominated the most extreme pro-homosexual, anti-family candidates for Governor and Lt. Governor ever to run as Republicans for a state's top offices. Predictably, the results were greeted by cheers in homosexual blogs and websites across the country. The delegates to the Massachusetts State Republican Convention last Saturday overwhelmingly nominated Charlie Baker for Governor and his hand-picked running mate Richard Tisei for Lt. Governor.

As some observers put it, the RINO takeover of the Massachusetts Republican party is now complete. Vast numbers of social conservatives essentially sold out their principles in favor of the party establishment's wishes.

Charlie Baker publicly supports homosexual "marriage" and abortion. While CEO of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care the company had a policy of supporting "gender identity or expression." In 2008 Harvard Pilgrim scored a perfect 100% from the national homosexual group Human Rights Campaign for its employment policies. (This means it even paid for employees' "sex-change" procedures!)

Baker's fiscal history is also troubling. He was Gov. Bill Weld's budget chief during the expansion of the "Big Dig" -- the most expensive public works project in history -- in the 1990s. For the last ten years Baker has made millions as head of Harvard Pilgrim, as premiums went up by several times the rate of inflation. Baker also supports the Quinn Bill, seen as a fiscal boondoggle by many conservatives.

Makes me SICK - I used to be proud to be from MA...now its a pig sty. Jane Swift would have been fine. I’m not sure I can take another 4 years of Devalue Patrick.

The MA GOP has nominated a gov/lt. gov just as radically leftist as the Rat ticket. Plus, Baker is up to his eyes in the implementation of RomneyCare. No thanks.

That’s why the only choice is Tim Cahill/Paul Loscocco.

The only way Rhinos learn is we make sure they lose. I’d vote for Patrick before voting for scum like those two candidates.

I’m waiting for the folks to show up and say these guys are gonna be “better” than Obama and the “socialist” Democrats...

Sorry, I can’t pull the lever for thos who approve of child killing, nor those who approve of the abomination of homosexual “marriage.” This is why I will NEVER support the RNC so long as they support even ONE candidate that holds to these views. And no, I wouldn’t support these guys in a general election either.

Can/will the Tea Party Conservatives run a 3rd Party candidate? can a Pro-life & anti-sodomy candidate make a dent in Taxachusetts? Can Republicans there get a clue — or is it too long too gone too late?

Interested to know the views of Mass and New England Repubs/Conservatives...?

I really, really, really wish I didn’t have to. If there was any way around it, I would leave tomorrow!

As it is, I think I would rather have Cahill than these two clowns.

It looks like Conservatives in Massholechews#!ts can vote for whomever they like. There is no longer a republican party in that state.

Well lets see, a state legislature that votes there is a quarum when only 2 or 3 are present, and passes bills anyway? I’d say too late, save a massive uprising, and I don’t see enough people on our side to do that. I wish I did.

It looks like sane people in Masssholechusetts can vote for whomever they like...

Cahill is the dog with the least amount of fleas; looking better and better compared to Duval and Baker.

And this is what happens when a RINO is the Chair of the RNC.

NO LEADERSHIP from Mikey Steele.

You get what you pay for. If you pay for a “woman of the evening,” that’s all you get.

I lay the blame for this outrage at the feet of the RNC.

“Cahill is the dog with the least amount of fleas; looking better and better compared to Duval and Baker.”

I hate to say this, but I’m sitting this vote out. I see there is no candidate for AG against Marcia Coakley. Ridiculous. I can only hope there are less incumbents in the Legislature in Nov.

I didn’t realize Marcia had no GOP challenger...great.

It is ridiculous.

All I can say is Cahill is the best of this bunch. Sad. If you sit this one out I can’t blame you...

The Mass. GOP refused to allow a GOP primary
and imposed these two pro-Romney plants.

Romney ruined the GOP.

I found this blurb from http://redmassgroup.com/diary/7128/tim-cahill:

“Cahill, while nominally pro-choice, chose a pro-life running mate.”

So the Cahill/Loscocco is the ‘most’ anti-murder ticket of the three.

Don’t let Jennifer Nassour of the hook for this either. She sold out the conservatives so she could get her mug on the cover of Bay Windows. I talked to Tisei at a fundraiser for Craig Spadafora. I told him I had a column in at The Malden Observer about his support for the Transgender Bath Room Bill which includes language that would fine my mother $2,500 if she protested a guy in a dress being in the Ladies Room with her. He completely ignored her concerns because “they have to go some where”. This make WOMEN “SECOND CLASS CITIZENS!” in the Ladies Room. That column got spiked, my column “A Little to the Right, Please” which has been a regular feature for over TEN YEARS is no where to be found, and I believe Tisei had a hand in it.
