.
Saw that.
Loved it.
From IMDB:
Mark Valley graduated West Point in 1987 with a degree in mathematics.
Penned the one-man show, “Walls, Wars and Whiskey” about his experiences growing up in upstate New York and in the military.
For liberals, women are too dum and too weak to own a gun and use a gun when facing an attack. That’s where liberal politics sums itself up in terms of fascist nanny state.
I agree, women like me benefit greatly from being gun owners. There is no substitute, unless it’s maybe a well placed grenade. (sarcasm on)
NRA member since Clintoon, and I confirm that Obummer is The World’s Best Ammo and Gun Salesman.
I’ve done some instructing and, quite frankly, my male comtemporaries and I find women to be very teachable. I find it very gratifying when a female pupil does well. Not only does she gain some skills that might save her life one day, she just might become involved in one of the many facets of firearms competition.
One of the few shows my family can watch without me cringing at stupid political messages. Glad it was picked up for another season.
I have been shooting pistols since I was 14 (many years ago), hubby said he would never argue with a woman that can shoot the wings off a fly.
I’ll be with the girlfriend when she attends an NRA’s “Women on Target” class. It will be interesting to watch the changing attitudes among the women.
Whether it’s the classes by the NRA or the Second Amendment Sisters, the ladies need more women instructors. I’m completely against men teaching women and that includes me. First time women shooters need to listen to a women who has been there and done that. I listened to the girlfriend when she listened to one of our IDPA lady safety instructors. She told me later that she didn’t know women competed like that.
Do you know about this show?? I didn’t....
No, but I’m checking it out now. Did you see the news segment yesterday about the 85 y/o woman who chased a guy out of her house by shooting at him? He’d broken the door down.
I don’t recall where the incident happened, sorry.
Thanks for the ping.
HA! I missed that story...Let’s connect again on this show...need to find it in the schedule
Here’s my favorite memory from the day my husband, 26 year military reserve member, taught me to shoot...at the end of the target practice he put a bottlecap we found on top of the target and I shot it off on the first try.
I remember being scared to pull the trigger the first time, fearing the unknown amount of recoil. But once I got over that,it was all great from there on out. I couldn’t get enough of target practice.
What's sarcastic about that? Sometimes, a grenade is the right choice ... even for self defense.
We need to repeal the NFA '34.
Im completely against men teaching women
I'm not. I've seen female fellow students respond extremely well to male instructors; even state that they prefer such. The best instructors I've had are able to adjust their styles to suit their particular students.
Yes, for sure. If you see the schedule for it, please let me know and I'll do the same.
When I find more will let you know.
What time and night?? Fox, right?
“Ive done some instructing and, quite frankly, my male comtemporaries and I find women to be very teachabl”
Women who take up highpower rifle (an increasing number) tend to stay with it, while, I regret to say, too many men drop out when they realize they aren’t the great shots they are in video games.
We men get our ego tied up too much in things sometimes. ;)
