CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — The mayor of Champaign is drawing criticism for saying he doubts President Barack Obama was born in the United States.
Mayor Jerry Schweighart's videotaped comments were posted online and led to criticism at a City Council meeting Tuesday from some black residents. They suggested Schweighart's doubts are based on the president's race.

How could he not be born in the U.S.? You mean somebody put that birth announcement in the paper back in 1961 because they were plotting to run the infant Obama as President someday? It’s ridiculous.
Then maybe you could tell me what hospital he was born at and who the doctor that brought the first black US president into the world is?

Well, the ‘birth announcement’ was found on Microfiche...which is of course, is absolutely, positively, triple dawg dare, tamper proof, so there ya go...2 mil to fight releasing the document(s) when its been ‘out there’ all along.

Think maybe that happens today with Mexican’s that cross the border? Anyways, a newspaper article is not a birth certificate. He’s hiding his. Why?

Any one who registered their child in Hawaii(1961) would have had their “birth announcement “ placed in the newspapers by the Hawaiian records department. This is not proof that he was born in Hawaii. No proof was required in 1961 to register a child with the records department in 1961. No hospital in Hawaii has a record of obama being born there. Their is overwhelming evidence that obama was born in Mombassa , Kenya and this is supported not only by family members but also a number of high ranking kenyan goverment officals.
Hypocritical, shallow, bigoted, white hating, self-loathing, creepy racists are what they all are.
and, they are the "Birthers" because they suspect Obama is hiding something and they want to protect him.
