From an Israeli pov, that's not a very reassuring response and a message not to go it alone, or at least not without getting US permission first.
Have a hard time picturing the USAF shooting down IAF aircraft . . .

Obama keeps moving closer and closer to the edge. Not long ago, it was inconceivable that such an order might be given by the US. Now, I wonder if Israel would have room for all the US pilots and US F16s that would seek sanctuary rather than carry out those orders.

Who is asking Mike Malen about his and his personnel’s oath vs. the preponderance of the evidence that Barack Obama is not a “natural born Citizen?”

“Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Army, Mike Malen”
No such position. Are they referring to Admiral Mullen who is the chairman of the JCS?

Any article that identifies the Chairman,JCS as MALEN instead of MULLEN has zero credibility to begin with,

I don't believe they would do it.
I also believe, one day, Obama will give an order to the JCS that they will overtly refuse to follow.

The US has seen what spying against Israel will result in: USS Liberty. Israel isn’t goofing around. Our PC government is about to get a schooling. Israel might not have the F-22 but they do have excellent pilots.

Never happen. Ubama wants a war with Israel?
Yeah, that’s a good idea...

I think the “young pilot” has received serious counseling by his commander regarding raising such a question in an open forum. He will have a short career!

We need a recall for the Presidential office, like they did in California.

It’s a typical military response to avoid discussing the game plan. I wouldn’t take anything from this except to say the plans are on a need to know basis.

Nobama may tell them to fire on Isreali planes, but betting somehow there is a guidance malfunction or garbled order in the field.

I had mentioned this possibility a couple days ago - that if Israel were to launch an attack that passes over Iraqi airspace, and the military were to stand down, that would create an enormous problem, in effect becoming insubordinate to the CIC (Obozo) and ROE. By allowing a flyover, the world would charge that we are supporting the attack. Politically, Obama doesn’t want this. So it would come down to two choices for the White House if the military did nothing:
1. Admit that it has no control of the military.
2. Admit that it gave clearance to attack, and drawing us into a war with Iran, thereby infurating the liberal base.
Israel would have to gamble that if we shot the planes down, both sides would keep it quiet, i.e., it never happened, and let the fists fly between the diplomats behind closed doors.

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. Psalm 107:28 Oh Lord, please free us from this madman in charge of this nation. Please correct this grievous error that the American people have made and allow us to earn your mercy and forgiveness when we stand together with Israel and not turn our backs on them in the time of trouble ahead. Amen

GOOD for Col. Lakin - he refuses to take orders from BHO.
