He wants to win at all costs. It’s all about him, not the party, not the state of FL, not the country.

And, he will never win as an independent. Rubio just has to play, and play, and play a video of Crist just last week saying, “I’m running as a Republican” Flip-flops are popular in FL, but not in our politicians.

I don’t see how the math works out for an independent to win. First, (according to nationwide polls) true independents are leaning heavily towards the Republicans, much more so than usual, primarily because of the conservatism and constitutional ideals that they have manifested during the health care debate and votes. I see the Crist RINOs voting for the ‘Rats or an independent candidate, but there are also dyed in the wool Republicans in Fla. who are going to vote that way no matter what. If he is gay, some ‘Rat votes should break his way, scuttling the ‘Rat candidate. Gay Republicans, except for the sex thing, tend to be fiscally conservative.
I hope the SOB does it; it should make for an interesting election.

My money is still on our man Rubio!
