It is odd. The first time I saw some, I thought they were kind of cool and were almost like sculptures. After the next 200, they started to look like utility poles.

i do think the newer, more modern ones look better than the older ones... they remind me of giant soldiers lined up on the hillside... i think because they are on lovely rolling hills, they don't look so bad... i know that probably sounds weird... if they were in dirt, or some raggedy field, it would look ugly to me... it might bother me if they went on for miles and miles along the freeway, but it's a relatively short span...
