I think I understand your point, but 75% of Americans are white, so it’s not surprising that the majority of Tea Partiers are also. If you filter in a bias toward middle class and employed or employable, and more educated, you’re going to end up with an older demographic as well. In this country, those qualities will also give you a whiter one, but in other countries (Japan, say, or India) it won’t. I’m sure the middle class in any country would be particularly incensed by a meddlesome, confiscatory government. Race oughtn’t to enter into it.

I think traditional America has to recognize that our idea of freedom and personal liberty does not resonate with every cultural group. Some groups want to be told what to do and exactly how to behave. Their beliefs are expressed in an extremely structured and restrictive way of life. Some groups do not want the stresses of self (economic) responsibility. They want a livelihood provided for them by government or the tribe. The problem arises when they immigrate and set about to change American in a manner that undermines, negates and super-cedes our core beliefs. We are committing cultural suicide if we let them. Tolerance is a laudable goal, but not when it destroys the essence of our national identity as the "land of the free."

Pat nails it. The White Guilt ploy has run its course and the race-baiters are failing the country. Whites have been paying reparations in many forms to blacks since the 60s. I for one am tired of affirmative action, set asides and the rest of the government enforced new racism. It is time to consider separation of the Red from the Blue states.

This is precisely what the Saul Alinsky followers are using against whites and tea party members. The whites and progs have bought this ploy, but I for one, will not be bound by the recyled box of political correctness. The race-baiters are in control of the DC Empire people—wake up.

Nope. It won't work. Blood and culture (ethnicity) will always trump ideology in the end. Don't believe me? Look at what happened to the last global-scale, multiracial/multiethnic empire... the USSR.
