A Georgia Tech student was robbed on campus early Tuesday as she walked to her car, Tech police said.
In a crime alert e-mailed to students and staff, campus police said the incident happened around midnight as the unidentified female student walked from the library to her car, which was parked near Ferst Drive and Cherry Street.
The student was approached by a man, who demanded her belongings. The victim gave the man cash.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male, 23 to 25 years old and 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing a gray t-shirt and was last seen on foot headed toward North Avenue, according to the alert.
The alert did not say whether the man was armed.
Surprisingly enough the article actually states that the suspect is black. MSM slipped up on that, don't they know that only white criminals should be identified by race? I guess the writer figured that of the forty or so robberies in the tech area in the recent history, none of the criminals were white it was kind of a lost cause to hide the race of the criminal.
*Thank you democrats for using our tax dollars to create a vicious culture of people who are convinced that they're entitled to everything everyone else has. Usually they're too lazy to steal on their own, instead relying on government to do it for them, but in this case an enterprising yout took the entrepreneurial route.
Crime is up in the ATL. Set your alarms and train your dogs. Teach the kids how to survive in this BIG CITY>
The alert did not say whether the man was armed.
Well thanks for nothing.
Did he one arm or two?
That might help people looking for him, no?
So predictable.
Crime is up in every 'urban area'. From Boston to LA, the bad guys are runnin' wild in the streets now. And why not. They have a friend running the DoJ.
Dress in Military a 'Commando' Black outfit, carry clubs and intimidate Voters and the US AG runs away - like it never happened. Or chop off a few heads like MS-13 and then he rules out the Death Penalty.
It's like it's the 60's & 70's all over again:
'Guilty as hell, free as a bird. America - what a country!' (Bill Ayers)
Actually happened that way a number of years ago. A cabbie shot and killed a "yout" who along with some others was trying to rob him (not too far from the tech campus). Exactly what you said happened, and the MSM feigned surprise and phoney outrage when the cabbie was not charged was a wonder to behold.
There has to be somebody in the library who would escort her to her car at midnight. It is unfortunate that you have to worry about such things at the old alma mater but it is what it is.
Tech's policy preventing ga carry licensed holders from exercising their rights on campus is somewhat to blame.
