I’m no less disturbed by the breach of morality in the Church. Neither do I have problem with the identification and criticism of the jackasses in the Church.

I wholeheartedly agree the Church needs to clean house.

Thank you. There are most definitely Catholic Bashers here and everywhere, but what I'm talking about is real trouble in the ranks, not just carping about dogma. My heart is broken over what I'm seeing and I feel powerless to do anything. I find many that agree with me, but most seem to say sit down and shut up about the Church. Either they agree with the usurpers, or they think it will go away if they just ignore it.

It's not going away, but it is getting worse. When Obama got the RC vote by such a margin, I knew it was big trouble. The ones that voted for Obama have to be motivated by something other than Christ. From what I can tell, they are supported from higher ups at least to the Cardinal level, otherwise, where is the discipline that should come at some point? Are priests allowed to just say and do anything without a Bishop correcting them? Then we hear from Bishops with the same clap trap.

Let us wait to see if anyone from the US to Rome says that Mahony should moderate his speech or some such statement. My bet is no. For me, that means the whole Church agrees with him. I expect this from the DNC, but not from the Church. If the Church saddles up with Dems, they also have to take homosexual marriage, abortion, no God in America, and all the other baggage that comes with them. If we lay with dogs, we will wake with fleas.
