I make no attempt to justify how the situation was resolved, it was criminal to say the least. As another poster stated, they could have waited them out. But I think people should also remember how evil this guy coresh was.

If I remember correctly, the Branch Davidians were about to run out of water. If you didn’t want them coming out, you had to go in after them.

I think you should stop re-writing history. The jurors who sat in the trials of the Waco survivors were appalled at the government's conduct. Several said the wrong people were on trial (as in: the federals should have been tried).

Koresh could have been arrested on one of his many trips to town if the Clintons hadn't wanted to publicly incinerate the Branch Davidians.

I believe Vince Foster was about to spill the beans regarding Hillary's involvement in the decision at Waco when he mysteriously committed suicide and moved his own dead body to Fort Marcy Park.

I believe Colin Powell was in on the decision also as he was a senior military official at the White House. He may have directly ordered the Delta Force to participate in the assault, in violation of federal law.

I think the Clintons had this potential disclosure hanging over Colin Powell's head to keep him from running for president.
