If Delta was involved, this is truly heartbreaking news. The US federal government’s Waco “intervention” smelled from the very beginning until the horrible horrible end. But I thought the DOD was relatively untainted in that fiasco.
In fact, I can trace my current depression, resignation and contempt for many agencies of the federal government, most especially the FBI and the ATF to that atrocity — and it WAS an atrocity.
The missing evidence, the spoiled evidence, the lies... They all counted...
But the SINGLE most important factor that proved conclusively to me that the government agencies were lying and covering up was the haste in which the entire compound area was bulldozed to prevent any event reconstruction of forensic analysis.
DOD was involved from the beginning and anyone paying any attention knew it. The armor was from Ft Hood. DOes anyone think the Texas Highway patrol has armor? There were folks in Army unifrom coming and going that were filmed. There were helicoptors with US Army markings. I could go on but you get the point. The place was dripping with DOD personnel. It was a flagrant violation of Posse Comitatus and we all knew it in real time. Oh, but it was OK because BJ had a “waiver”. I see.
