Obama is forgetting one very important fact - the media made him, and the media can break him. The only thing the press loves more than a leftist in power is their ability to bring down someone in power - the bigger, the better.
They fired a shot over his bow by standing with FOXNews, and he didn’t pay much attention.
There’s been a flurry of stories about how disenchanted the press is becoming with Obama. He isn’t paying much attention.
Watch for the articles to start coming out with phrases like “the increasingly unpopular President” or “the increasingly divisive President” replacing “the once wildly-popular President.” That will be the first indication that the press has turned on him.
Remember, a favorable press is worth a solid 10% in the polls. When he hits 40% approval, the media will smell blood and pile on, and they’ll do it with a smile.
Yeah, I noticed that, too. Even when they're complaining, they just can't help themselves.
I think the press will continue to happily lap up whatever crumbs Obama deigns to toss them, hoping that if they remain subservient long enough, eventually their master will toss them a bigger crumb.
That’s the way they are.
Where’s their outrage?

Oh, another thing: If you are behaving like a doormat, don’t be surprised when someone wipes his shoes on you.
Regardless of the shabby way Obama treats journalists, being that around 90 percent of them are die hard partisan Democrats, when it comes to Obama vs. any Republican, they'll choose Obama everytime. Obama can throw them under the bus as often as he wants, and come election time, they'll still slant their coverage in his favor.

When the Kenyan parliment wants its bribes, the Kenyan president must dance to the tune at the Kenyan embassy. I expect a 100 billion more in foreign aid to Kenya. The press can’t cover this.

Obama will use the press as long as it benefits him and then throw them under the bus (it’s getting crowded under there).

That said, I am aghast at the attitude of the vast majority of those who constitute my chosen industry and profession.
Far too many of us place a priority on ensuring that news reports adhere to left-wing bromides. They prefer the comfort of liberal dogma rather than reveal the unvarnished truth.
I constantly point out the hypocrisy and uneven coverage the news industry provides to conservatives and liberals. To no avail. Close to giving up on that, anyway. There’s that whole thing about beating one’s head against the wall.
Why am I so discouraged? Every day I see more bleeding due to a thousand self-inflicted cuts.
Do I think I have much of a chance to convince a large group — or even a small cadre of fellow reporters and editors that we are slanting the news?
After years of trying, it’s plain that I have a better chance to do any of the following than to change hearts and minds:
1. Yell “Lazarus, come forth!” and get immediate results.
2. sit on a beach, hold a grain of sand in my hand, and with the power of my will alone, create a second grain of sand out of nothing.
3. teach my cat the Theory of Relativity. Or even the Theory of Gravity.
You get the idea.
Should a full meltdown of the news media occur, we’ll have no one to blame but ourselves.
Talk about getting in the coffin, nailing it shut, and then shoveling dirt on it, all without anybody helping us.

Absolutely - but read the rest of my post. The only thing they like MORE than liberals in power is when they get to show that they can destroy someone. They'll turn on a fellow liberal when there's enough blood in the water.
