Randy’s offense: Failing to appear for a court hearing on a charge of having shortened the barrel of a shotgun, which task he agreed to do after repeated requests from an undercover agent of the U. S. Government, with the intent of so compromising him that he might agree to provide information about certain suspected anti-government militia types with whom Weaver was “suspected” of being associated.
