Patriot’s Day is a holiday in Boston. They run the marathon that day.

As to American history in schools, Bill Bennett has written two books on the subject that were designed to be used as textbooks.

He had on Janine Turner (from Northern Exposure and Friday Night Lights) today to discuss her organization which is working on a curriculum on the Constitution and Federalist Papers. It’s being designed with a grade school through high school approach.

Isn't Patriot's Day the same day as "Fast Day" in NH? Or was Fast Day eliminated when NH passed Civil Right's Day?
