I do not think the intent of those proposing it is what was stated in the original post.

It is however a far too powerful an authority to bestow on Obozo.

They will draw fire for this one.

I keep thinking about that DHS memorandum that was released several months ago, and those whom it classified as “possible domestic terrorist” threats. Combine that memorandum with the stipulation in this Bill that the POTUS has the final authority to determine a “belligerent’s” status, and every alarm in the house is going off.

Exactly right. It is a far to powerful authorization for ANY President, even more dangerous with this crew in the White House!
