Er, what is his cost basis? Is he up or down overall?

I did my own research.

Buffet has 43,478,260 warrants at a strike price of $115. He got them free for buying $10 billion of perpetual preferred paying 10%.

At the closing price on Friday, these warrants are worth $6,986,956,382.

Since he acquired them at no cost, other than the 10 billion he is getting 10% return on, I wouldn’t cry to hard for him.
