Its worrisome news for New Yorkers, whod face big security challenges and costs. More troubling, though: The AGs words are part of a pattern of flip-flops, backtracks and confusion over key national-security issues a full 15 months after President Obama took office.
By now, youd think hed have mastered the learning curve, no?
Consider: Just two days after being sworn in, Obama signed an executive order calling for the closure of the Guantanamo Bay prison within a year.
Yet the facility remains open today.
