The death toll from the earthquake and resulting fire, estimated to be above 3,000,[6] is the greatest loss of life from a natural disaster in California's history. The economic impact has been compared with the more recent Hurricane Katrina.[7]

Not comparing Pelosi with Samson by any stretch- the only correlation being that they were both blind.
Its also interesting to me as Samson’s was the only suicide in the Bible I recall for a righteous purpose. Other than unsuccessful battle heroics.

And the entire city was rebuilt using private money. Newspapers of that era carried stories of school children dropping pennies and dimes into glass jars and sending them to SF. Businesses across the country wrote checks and mailed them to SF. It’s a good story showing how America worked before government got big.

The damage caused by Nancy Pelosi surely has been far greater. Thus, SF has spawned 2 of the greatest disasters this nation has ever seen. We’ll have to leave it to scientists to figure out how to avoid or mitigate damage from any future earthquake. But Nancy Pelosi’s fate lies in the hands of all voters—not just those in her district. A Republican majority in the House will strip her of the power she’s used to steer the U.S. ship of state way too far in the leftward direction.
