I know the convict went overboard on dealing with the Parole Officer (PO). However, the PO was very vindictive and my impression is he was going out of his way to ensure the convict’s failure in life such as arranging his departure time where he is late for his job which would eventually ensure that he is fired.

My son had a parole officer for about nine months.

The guy was a COMPLETE AND TOTAL asshole. A petty fat, lazy power mad clown

My son was busted for a possession charge (pot) and the guy treated him like he committed mass murder. He would show up in the middle of the night to check on him. Wake everyone up, set up mandatory meetings and never show which is a big thing since he was required to meet him monthly or face jail time.

I tried to explain to him since my son was living with me he could be assured he would toe the line on his terms of probation so he could back off a little.

Guy treated me only a little better then he treated my kid.

Several times I could has easily taken him out back to learn a little respect.

He did not have an excuse to kill a cop; however he had cause to sue the cop if the cop was forcing him out of work.

But it does show that the cop bullying retraining so prevalent today is getting more and more dangerous for cops. We have to turn this around somehow.

Yes yes, let us all wring our hands and furrow our brows at the thought of such violence. Yet, there is something quintessentially Ammerican about his explanation: "He deserved it . . . He's an a- -hole."

If being an a-hole was grounds for justifiable homicide, there'd be nobody left.

I’m retired NYPD I’ve worked along side parole officers on the street and haven’t had the same impression you’ve had. Those people on this tread reading what a couple of convicts have to say about a parole officer and taking it as gospel is laughable.
