The victim’s mother’s wish not to see this as political doesn’t mean this is not political.

There aren’t enough of these jokers to seriously do anything but this kind of street theater in the cities. They don’t have the cajones to bring it to the country because they know they’ll be gunned down.

The can try to manufacture this into a right-wing thing, but it will escalate to the point of critical mass where it cannot be denied. Anarchists and militia are simply too different to be mistaken for long, and there’s just too much internet out there. And the cities will react and crack down on things, because cities are mostly liberal, and liberals don’t like their authority questioned. Just make sure you pop some popcorn.

RICO is exactly what I had in mind. They already have internet quotes, which go across state lines.

Because this incident is indicative of what some people will do to someone they are in hostile disagreement with. Do you want this type of thing to continue? Look at what’s happened to crime in this country over the last decades. A level of violence and criminality that formerly was not tolerated has become commonplace. Shall we accept political beatings, too? What’s happening to people’s rights and simple civility?

Thanks for the post, abb.

The article/photos at the enclosed link are very chilling.

Things are going to get worse if the mainstream media stays complacent with liberal/progressive crimewaves.

Stay safe, fellow FReepers. We have our work cut out for us.

No question that it was politically motivated.

Everyone was waiting for the ‘crashers’ during the open tea party protests the other day but these animals are much too cowardly for a confrontation with a ‘group’ of Patriots. Instead, this tactic will become more common. These subhumans will wait until they can isolate 2 or 3 of us and then brutalize. I fully expect them to start targeting and breaking into individual homes as well. Make sure you have a loaded pistol within reach.

Agree on most everything except that when Zero declares martial law, or a “national emergency”,the game won’t be over. It will just be beginning.

For those who don’t grasp the difference between political and partisan, it’s pretty simple. In our modern parlance, partisan means Republicans vs. Democrats. Political can include everything else. Like, for example, anarchist revolutionaries.

Respectfully, this is not about political parties, abb.

This is about an anarcho-syndicalist U.S. President, who is a part of a global Marxofascist revolution against the Sovereign Citizens of the sovereign nation of the United States of America.

        &nbap

Andy Stern is an anarchosyndicalist.

Bill Ayers is an anarchosyndicalist.

These thugs who beat up that couple are anarchosyndicalists, too.

Stop pushing it? Wait until it’s you next time. We conservatives must keep this incident in mind. It’s not the first. DemocRAT/union thugs have beaten conservatives before, in fact two freepers were badly beaten a few years back at a political event.

Notice how the ‘Rats are never physically attacked by conservatives? And we often expect the same restraint from them. That’s a mistake. They’re mad because we’re winning the hearts and minds, and they’ll do whatever it takes to impose their horrible agenda on us. Even if it means beating people into submission.

Lying to people (and that’s what you’re suggesting) might make you feel better and all warm and fuzzy, but that’s not the real world. The real world is, they’ll hurt us if they can, or worse.

This is an excellent point that should be driven home to the powers that be in NOLA.

Any ideas on how to make that happen?

Publicly traded companies are among those that have an interest in NOLA’s reputation as a tourist destination.

I ain’t a lawyer, but it would seem as if Marriott and other firms invested in NOLA’s tourist sector would have grounds for a RICO suit for actual monetary damages if this crime reduces the town’s appeal for tourists.

"The second is a lot more devastating to the French quarter community that relies on tourism and encourages people from all over to drink and become vulnerable in the area."

In fact, a boycott of New Orleans by conservatives until there is an actual investigation and arrest might be the best way to go. Why would a conservative want to go to a place where they look the other way when someone maims a conservative woman?

Malkin sold her website awhile back, and I don’t know if she has control of it any more. Whatever the reason, though, it’s not the site it once was. I don’t bother with it any more.

I congradulate you on a well written and fully supported piece.

IMHO, the funding of the Iron Rail has not seen enough light. Has anyone out there idenified and dug into their 990’s?

Thanks, but I didn’t write this. The author of The Hayride is Scott McKay, who lives in Baton Rouge. My stuff is at Lincoln Parish News Online.

And yes, the Iron Rail thing is definitely worth a look. One would hope the NOPD is snooping around.
