DOS??

People still use DOS?

Does it still come with the oh so user friendly Dosshell?

I was kidding. But there are no doubt a few nutjobs somewhere who still use it. And almost everybody still uses that yucky old DOS filesystem.

People still use DOS?

I still use DOS all the time - Either a hacked up version of MS-DOS 7.10... Or a REALLY hacked down version of Win98SE that no longer has "Windows", unless one wants to start Progman... I tend to use this more than DOS anymore in order to get at 32bit and much better mem... But it is basically a 32bit DOS... It is still the best thing for low level hardware diagnostics, HDD work, and real-time functions (machine tools). One can often get onto NT Systems that NT can no longer read with simple DOS and an NTFS driver.
