Farcical nuclear summit ignored the 2 real threats

There was something oddly disproportionate about the just-concluded nuclear summit to which President Obama summoned 46 world leaders, the largest such gathering on American soil since 1945. That meeting was about the founding of the United Nations, which 65 years ago seemed an event of world-historical importance.

But this one? What was this great convocation about? To prevent the spread of nuclear material into the hands of terrorists. A worthy goal, no doubt. Unfortunately, the two greatest such threats were not even on the agenda.

Editorial article can also be found at Washington Times, link there headed "Strutting and Fretting", at the Sac.Bee as Obama's multi-nation summit ignored two real nuclear threats, and at both Townhall, and newsobserver.com as "The Real Nuclear Threat".

Mad Mullah led Iran, eventually supplying the likes of Hezbullah with nuke weapons? NOT even hinted at being discussed.

Obama, too busy "strutting" after summoning the leaders of nearly fifty nations to this "summit" to do anyting more than take credit for a U.S.-Russian reduction schedule instituted TEN YEARS AGO... (we didn't hear much reminder about that on the network news, now did we?)...and the oh-so-reasonable sounding "we won't nuke anyone else unless they nuke us first" statement, which leaves us vulnerable to, if not practically invites, first- strike chemical, or nuclear weapon attack on the U.S. at some time in the future.

Some summit...it looks more like a VALLEY, to me.

Everything this current Admin says, is poorly worded. From Obama, on down at least through Hillary®.

We can talk "peace", while holding a position of un-questionable strength. We [the U.S.} did so [for the most part] for years.

In our relationship with or towards Pakistan, we could do better at appearing to NOT being bullying, ordering them around...
Hillary just doesn't get it. Neither, of course, does Obama.

They both talk weakness, at those time and places where we should be resolute.
Then they posture 'tough', when we should be more delicate, and publicly polite towards other nations, and other nations leaders (while being a bit more frank with them, behind the scenes).

These two are not diplomats. They only THINk they are, since they are both hard-core, right-down-to-the-bone manipulators.
