One huge part of not only this particular problem, but the entire marxist/thug coup happening right before our eyes, is this:
Republicans are in the main EUNUCHS! CAPONS! EMASCUALATED! GUTLESS! SPINELESS! WIMPS! NERVOUS NELLIES! WEAK SISTERS!
They’re so concerned about what the opposition thinks that they’re freaking paralyzed with indecision and fear. (And maybe scared of their crap in the closets, too.) You could take the gumption and fighting spirit from the LOT of them and you’d have about one thimbleful.
It’s pretty strange but the few who seem to any courage and spirit at all are the women like Bachmann and Palin, maybe a couple of others like “you lied” Wilson, and a handful of others.
Otherwise, Repubs are dancing the minuette with their little fingers up in the air, while their opponents are dirty street fighters.
It’s beyond sickening.

Bingo!!! You’re right. The Republicans are being cowardly and its super disgusting and reprehensible. They need a 2x4 upside the head or between the eyes. But then, they’d probably just run home, get under the bed and cry.
