Danny Glover was arrested in Maryland today -- after armed police cracked down on a massive protest rally.
Glover -- along with 10 other people -- was taken into custody outside of the headquarters of Sodexo, Inc. ... where protesters were rallying against the business practices of the food management giant.
After he was released, a smiling Glover told cameras, "We're moving to make some real positive changes."

Hollyweirdos like Glover really do love themselves.
It said “massive” ? Massive ?
“Officer may I suggest using your nightstick?”
That’s what I thought. Ten people = “Massive?”
What was he so hopping mad about? Did the Cmpany make a profit?
Notice the purple shirts. That’s a hint.
Danny is smart enough to remember his lines and blocking.....but he’s a useful idiot politically....typical of lots of Hollywood types.
There are moments when I think that property owners should have always been the only ones with the vote.
Oh well.....ya can’t unscramble the eggs now can ya.
from a seiu site:
SEIU President Andy Stern, actor Danny Glover, SEIU Executive VPs Bruce Raynor, Mitch Ackerman and eight others were arrested at today’s Sodexo protest.
At the event, 200+ Sodexo workers from around the world, community leaders, SEIU members and others protested against outsourcing giant Sodexo—a food service contract company that is leading the global race to the bottom.

200??? From around the world???? WOW!!! Massive!!!!
Ah, if they are from around the world - wouldn’t they most likely be.....illegals?.....;)
What Danny was really doing was trying to keep his dead career alive

I remotely know of a person that worked for Sodexo.
Got a nice “settlement” over some issue (discrimination, harassment?)
Maybe part of an SEIU plan to drain the coffers of a company.

I’ve got admit one of the more satisfying film scenes in recent movies
was the end of the movie “Shooter”.
(a corrupt ex-military and corrupt Senator, played by Glover and
Ned Beatty, respectively, get their just deserts.
Only it was too painless!!!)
I wonder if he was able to get a cab in Rockville.
Not racist.
Union thuggery on a scale unseen for many, many decades is about to be rammed down the throats of American businesses by legislation or executive order
Unions will be targeting corporations who cannot shift work or operations overseas. Companies just like Sodexo.
Soon there will be a sign legally mandated by every time clock in American the spells out the right of workers to unionize.
This little event was simply a dry run to work out the best strategy

That is so funny, I was thinking the exact same thing!!
I do like that movie!
48 hours....great line.
