It was a nice day at this event held on the State Capitol Steps. Warm and only light breezes. No infiltrators. A very small group of Obamabots counter-protesting across the street. Heard radio news say estimates of about 4,000 in attendance. Smaller turnout than last year. Photos follow.

That dead tree in the first photo was named “Obama Care Tree” by some of the speakers.

There were a few peple of color there, but not many. Freeper dynachrome was in the crowd near me. I probably walked right past him, but don’t know what he looks like. Mr Innis and the pastor who was with him did a great job and got a HUGE applause from the crowd. Is that racist?

Seriously, my mom's family roots are in Worland. So I keep an eye on WYO for sentimental reasons. I wish we had 49 more Wyomings. That state is one non stop Tea Party, in my opinion

Is that racist? Naw, a bit obvious and politically correct - but I don't know who we're trying to impress.

We had about a dozen idiots across the street who were holding up amnesty signs and some 9/11 insider job signs. They also had one or two with a bullhorn and I thought one of ‘em was going to blow a gasket. Must not have been fun for them to see all these yellow flags, regular stars and stripes and patriot signs.

The first black speaker asked the crowd “am I black enough?”. It got a good laugh.

Wow, a smaller turnout? Im surprised. I went to the one last year, but didnt make it to this one. I was hoping it would be bigger. I thought it would be. Why do you think it was smaller turnout. More tea parties than last year going on in different places? We had a smaller turnout in Tucson too, I was really surprised and also thought we'd have more this year. I took a vacation day last year and today. We also had quite a few blacks, especially considering there aren't really that many here. The main host was black.
I also talked to quite a few Hispanics (they told me that they are because I wouldn't have thought about it otherwise/noticed).
