You are spot on. I won't be able to find it 4 years later but I remember McAmnesty taking on his own party members back in the 2006 time frame when we shut down the Senate switchboard while he was busy trying to ram through AMNESTY (oops I mean Comprehensive Immigration Reform). He would argue furiously that it was NOT amnesty because the illegals would have to pay back taxes. And yet the illegals were only going to have to pick any three years and estimate what their income was - you know like being paid in cash out of the back of a truck. Seems to me that when your "CRIMES" are forgiven that meets most people's definition of AMMESTY. McAmnesty would take on anyone that said Congress was proposing AMNESTY. Like so many in Congress they believe that we are so dumb they can just call it by another name and their conscious is clear. DISHONEST CROOKS EVERYONE ONE OF THEM.
