Agreed on Hatoyama as a person, not Japan as a nation-state or an ally. And also agreed about Hatoyama’s moonbat wife. Sheesh. You HAVE seen his numbers dropping like a rock.

Hatoyama has two big problems. First, obviously, he promised things that he damn well knew he would not be able to deliver. Things that nobody could deliver because they are flat out impossible. OK, that much is understandable because all politicians do it and I am sure most voters took those promises with a grain of salt anyhow.

But his second and more serious problem, in my opinion, is that he can't separate his lips from Ozawa's buttocks. 新しいボスに会おう、古いボスと同じように.

The DJP, like Obama, campaigned on a promise to do things differently. Yet Ozawa and his cronies have rapidly proven to be just as craven and corrupt as the LDP ever was, without the experience of having actually run things, knowing what is possible, and how to make the system work.
