It’s very likely the poll is accurate.

Neither L. Ron nor the the child-like emperor has a snowballs chance in hades of winning in 2012 so indeed they could very well be neck and neck.

Nothing like a push poll to create a controversy.

“Push poll” is a term of art. This was not a “push poll” Push polls are a political campaign tactic where a candidate calls voters and asks loaded questions.

Here’s a push poll question:

If you knew that Mitt Romney brought Gay Marriage to Massachusetts, would that make you more likely or less likely to vote for him?”

The point of the call is not to get the responses, the point of the call is to tell the person that Mitt Romney brought Gay Marriage to Massachusetts.
