The rightness of his comments on Iran do NOT depend on his immigration position.Actually, they do. It's stupid to leave your back door wide open (as McCain has advocated) while attacking foreign States, since such a policy provides a means for those other foreign States to retaliate in an asymmetric manner, i.e., by sending agents across the U.S. border to commit acts that effect death and injury, destruction of public and private property, a general lawlessness, etc.
The cattle ranchers in southern Arizona and their neighbors have already recognized such a dreadful possibility following the murder of Robert Krentz by an unlawfully-present foreign national.
It's about time FReepers like yourself do the same.

Exactly. And this is why it became increasingly difficult to take the GWB 'War on Terror' seriously because while George talked a good game about going after al Qaeda, taking out Saddam, etc., by any standard of measure he FAILED to defend the sovereign borders of the United States, which truth be told, was an impeachable offense.
As for McLame, he's trying to parlay his latest comments into triggering the public memory about his 'Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb bomb Iran' wisecrack a while back, hoping that the Arizona voters will think "wow, McCain's talkin' smack about Iran, he sounds tough, let's put him back in there", but I submit that the voters aren't as stupid as McCain seems to think they are.
If someone wants to review the threats to our southern border, they can begin by putting the name "John Sidney McCain" at the top of their list. As long as that RINO-phuckwit is sitting in the Senate, Arizona and the rest of America can expect nothing but continued duplicity, deception and double talking.
