An example of modern (incorrect) reporting.
I haven’t seen anybody in the media except the now departed CCN commentator Lou Dobbs ask the one prickly question. If all this is settled, why is the Obama team spending millions of dollars in legal fees to fight any disclosure of his legal birth certificate, passport records and college records? This whole question could have been settled a long time ago with some simple document production. The fact that this amount of money is being spent to preclude that would lead any “reasonable” person to suspect that there is more to this.
I guess they must have a copy of his long form birth certificate. Wish they’d share it with the rest of us!
Wasn’t Glowbull Warming settled too?
It’s important to see the media reporting on this issue at all, even if they are, as usual, lying. Obama would far rather just have it GO AWAY.
His best defense is not a lying media, which constantly risks a slip-up and gets people talking and wondering, but a silent media.
Every time this issue arises, he faces the danger that something will slip, something will give way. Especially when more and more and more people dislike him, and see him as the congenital liar that he is.

Just wondering: How does the author of the article know for sure that Obama was born in the United States---specifically Hawaii---if he has not seen Obama's Hawaii long form birth certificate?
I hope that he is not merely taking the word of high-ranking Hawaii government officials or relying on the short form Obama birth certificate that we see on the internet.
I'm not a journalist but if I were, I would want to see Obama's long form in hand and up close. That is, I would NOT rely on a Hawaii government official's word that she has seen Obama's birth certificate and telling me that yes, Obama was born in Hawaii, but, she tells me, I am not allowed to see the birth certificate for myself to verify her statement.
And, lastly, I would not rely on the authenticity of any document, especially an Obama birth certificate, that I could only examine/analyze in detail by looking at it on my computer monitor.
Shroud of Turin: Imagine this: The only way experts could examine the Shroud of Turin would be by looking at it on their computer screens, and they could NOT touch it or examine it up close. Ridiculous.
Apparently it’s okay to be a “birther” as long as you are the right kind of “birther”. Those who question Obama’s bonafides are not the right kind of “birther”.
