...Reps. Don Young (R-Alaska) and Ron Paul (R-Texas) were the first to submit earmark requests in violation of the new [House Republican] moratorium, followed recently by freshman Rep. Joseph Cao (R-La.). All three have asserted the importance of directing money back to their constituents...

Someone needs to up his intellectual creds (or meds).

Just a crank Bircher who despises Israel and says Obama is not a socialist, Iran is not a threat and 911 was an inside job.

Ungh.
I saw a sign for the John Birch Society at the TEA party on Saturday.
It's the only thing that put a damper on a great day.

If we NEED a certain project, and the bureaucrats get in the way, like, maybe a FENCE ON THE BORDER -— I think earmarks serve a purpose!

My impression - Paulites are at Tea Parties to distract from the essence of what they are supposed to be doing, and draw attention to themselves, away from the goal.
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the leftist thugs who are planning to infiltrate the Tea Parties this week, carrying Paul signs.

Did Ron Paul get you a fence? I don’t see a fence. I heard all the talk about paying for it. Duncan Hunter even got miles built in CA. Did Paul get any on the ground in TX? The fact is we are now officially broke. We can’t even afford no stinking fence.

It was just a sign, tacked to a tree behind a booth.
It kind of took me back.
Thankfully I turned away and didn't think about it again. Before I became a conservative, I lived next to a guy who belonged to a group of rabid Birchers. I got to know them all, it was quite a shock learning the mish mash of stuff that they believed. Tri-lateral commission, Bildebergers, evil United Fruit co, the moon landing was staged in Arizona, on and on. Ugh and ugher.
Reminds me of a certain Paul bot poster now that I think of it....
