No it didn’t, BUT, in his state Senate career, he was also open to civil, I would say respectful, letters and calls asking him to research the subject more thoroughly, and to listening to objections from his party and voters. He has been swayed many times, and it isn’t clear really whether he is projecting an image of being open or as he says “an independent mind”, or if he really never needed to be swayed in the first place. Meaning he just wants to appear neutral on the surface so he is included in the planning of a bill, which would give him more knowledge of what is done behind the scenes. He is hard to figure out that way, so I don’t try.

Yes, but we did bring him over to our side on something, though I don’t remember the bill, when we lobbied hard.

Yep, I see a budding Arlen Specter

Paid RINOs are the worst kind of RINO!

We need a National Day of RINO BBQ’en! So that RINOs know the fate that awaits them come Election Day, or Judgment Day - which ever occurs first!

I thought Brown stated during his campaign that he was opposed to “Cap ‘n Trade?”

Compromise has only resulted in more socialism over the years. It’s beyond comprehension why some people insist on remaining in the OP(formerly the GOP) wing of the increasingly socialist Republicrat party.

He doesn’t deserve the Tea Party’s support the next time around. We need to teach rinos a lesson. His 60th vote isn’t worth spit when the rats do whatever they want anyway.

All candidates should be primaried...all the time. As President Reagan pointed out, freedom is always only one generation away from extinction. Brown may turn out to be fine. We have a couple years to find out. But there is no reason to take anyone for granted, when election time rolls around.

These guys have had plenty of opportunity to access the facts
on the scam of AGW and climate change. They have been bought off by the large corporations that have invested heavily in this marketing bonanza.

This Tennesseean apologizes for the other idiots that keep electing Lamar! to any office.

I’ve never voted for him. Or that idiot Corker.

"I dont believe we should be against everything the Democrats propose..."

A year and a half or so ago I might have agreed with you. However, since then they and the trio of idiots leading them have provided more than ample evidence as to why one should NEVER, EVER support ANYTHING they propose. There is no longer such a thing as a moderate Democrat. Despite the lamb's wool some of them try to wrap themselves in, they have now all been exposed as rabid wolves, intent on devouring whatever remains of good, decent America. I see absolutely no reason to compromise with such evil in any way.

The “U.S. climate change bill” isn’t about changing the climate. It’s about redistributing more of YOUR money.
