Okay. What city are you talking about? You know New Orleans is not on the coast, right? Surely you’re not that ignorant?

Again, when exactly do you think should Louisiana should have demanded the US Army stop building levess? Would you have supported Gov. Blanco seizing the levees from the US Army by force in 2004?

Five miles inland from Lake Borgne, which is essentially a bay of the Gulf of Mexico, is “on the coast”, like it or not.

They should have said 100 years ago “We’re moving inland, above sea-level; we don’t need your levees anymore”.

Apparently not only the population of New Orleans, but the city government of New Orleans and the state government of Louisiana is fully composed of parasites who want the Federal Government to fix the hurt boo-boo and scare away the things that go bump in the night.
